Analysis on the ionospheric scintillation monitoring performance of ROTI extracted from GNSS observations in high-latitude regions

چکیده
Monitoring ionospheric scintillation on a global scale requires introducing network of widely distributed geodetic receivers, which call for special type index due to the low sampling rate such receivers. ROTI, as with great potential being applied in receivers globally, lacks extensive verification high-latitude region. Taking phase (σϕ) provided by monitoring reference, this paper analyses data collected at 8 GNSS stations validate performance ROTI statistically. The is evaluated against 4 parameters: 1, detected daily occurrence rate; 2, ability detect pattern scintillation; 3, correlation between and space weather parameters, including 10.7 cm solar flux, Ap, H component longitudinally asymmetric polar cap north indices; 4, overall distribution magnitude.
